The kids have been great helpers lately. Boston had to run the bath water the other night. He completed his task very well without complaining. I finally made my way to the tub after the water ran for about 5 minutes. Guess what I discovered.....Sophie chose to be a helper as well by putting herself into the tub! She took off her diaper and left it floating in the tub to fill with so much water that it busted open. She doesn't know how to take off shirts yet, so she left on her pink Elmo shirt which was wet and clinging to her body. I had to let out the water from the tub, clean up the filling from the diaper (that stuff doesn't clean up easily) and then run new bath water. All in all having those two helpers just set me back a mere ten minutes.
Olivia has also been helper. Boston asked for her help today after he finished his private business. She helped Boston make sure his bottom was clean. She told him he still needed to wipe. He said, "Oh..in my canyon?" I heard this conversation, shook my head, and laughed. I knew I should have run for the camcorder when he asked for her help.
Lesson I learned: always have the camera or camcorder ready!! Both of these are definite memory makers.

ReplyDeleteThe bath water is too funny! Let's hope that Sophie doesn't get into wet t-shirts! I thought Boston was over having someone help him wipe. I can remember him hollering from the bathroom for help and going in there and there he was with his feet on the floor, bent over with his hands touching the floor, and his behind looking right at you. I wish I had had a camcorder for that.
