The atmosphere in a neighborhood is quite important. When Andy and I were looking at buying a new house back home, we wanted a peaceful, beautifully landscaped neighborhood with pretty houses and lots of amenities. We found that here in Dubai. Our new community has landscaped walkways and common areas, swimming pools, playgrounds, tennis court, basketball court, and a small workout facility. The roads and walkways are brick with an in-laid fan shaped design. There are solar powered streetlamps, low iron and concrete fences, and the best part....loads of green, flowering plants. The pictures below are from a walk the kids and I took one evening about 6 p.m. Enjoy!

I like how you have them all standing in the last picture, they look really happy that you are taking their picture.
